Editor’s Letter from Dreams Spring Issue 2020
On behalf of my team here at DREAMS, I proudly present to you our annual Real Estate and Home Design Issue. On the cover are HGTV stars Drew and Jonathan Scott – also known as the Property Brothers – who are redefining the term ‘dream home’ with their latest venture Dream Homes by Scott Living, by creating custom luxury homes in Las Vegas. We toured their first build in MacDonald Highlands and Jonathan Scott put it best when he claimed, “Whoever calls this home will be beaming from ear to ear.” I couldn’t agree more.
We capture the essence of the Southern California indoor/outdoor lifestyle and get to know a world-renowned architect who shares his thoughts on creating the contemporary home of today. Meet two acclaimed interior designers – one who is disrupting the industry through technology enabling you to create your ‘Perfect Room’ online; the other is the visionary behind celebrity homes including Tommy Hilfiger, Kourtney Kardashian and many other notable names.
Near to my heart is the GIVE – MENTOR – LOVE Foundation’s Superhero Benefit on page 140. I’m honored to serve alongside a group of local women and create a difference for LA County youths and young adults in-crisis, at risk, homeless or in foster care, and victims of Human Trafficking.
