Jeanne K. Chung, owner and designer of Cozy Stylish Chic, hosted a fun launch party for prospective designers and participants in the charity tablescape design competition “The World of Conversation” coming to the Pasadena Convention Center on Nov. 9, 2019.
“I am thrilled to chair this year’s Setting the Table. Bringing together the local design community is a passion of mine and this is the perfect way to do it,” Ms. Chung explained.
70 guests enjoyed food and beverages including wines donated by Bodega Wine Bar, Buzzbox premium cocktail tastings and donated desserts from Nothing Bundt Cakes. Professional lighting was donated by Lionmark Entertainment.
Anthony Guthmiller was thrilled with the launch party turnout, “I am so excited to see the response from all the designers who attended our Kick Off event and I look forward to all the amazing tablescapes our local artists and designers will be creating.”
The event in November goes toward a great cause. “We are so grateful for Jeanne Chung’s leadership and Anthony Guthmiller’s vision and inspiration of this very special event benefiting the Junior League of Pasadena and Leadership Pasadena,” said Leadership Pasadena Board member Mary Spellman.
Participants will compete for a full-page ad in Dreams Magazine, a $6,000 value, by creating a dining table for 8 to celebrate the power and importance of conversations around the world, across cultures and here at home.
