Sandy Kobeissi has helped many families find their place in the communities of the La Crescenta Valley. We talk to her about trends in these areas and how she has created success in the real estate industry.
Q: What brought you into real estate? Taking us to present day, who do you primarily work with and how do you serve them?
SK: Ever since I met Mike, and as a family, real estate has always been an integral part of my life. Now that my younger son Enzo is in elementary school, I’m able to focus more of my time professionally in serving other families with children that are seeking to buy and relocate into this area. There are nation-leading public and private schools here, so families who want the best upbringing for their children come here and I’m able to integrate them into the schools and community. I’m also very involved in many community and educational endeavors such as CSF, YMCA, and local school events.
Q: What are some of the trends that you’re seeing in the La Cañada Flintridge, La Crescenta/Montrose and Glendale areas?
SK: I think the biggest trend is that the La Crescenta Valley has become a location for professionals, young professionals and families that work in downtown Los Angeles, the Burbank Media Corridor, Pasadena and Glendale. Many of these beautiful neighborhoods nestled against the Foothills are being enhanced and make for a great place to raise a family.
Q: What personal and professional qualities have created the foundation for your success?
SK: I believe that integrity and meeting clients’ expectations in all areas of finding a home and a lifestyle makes the major difference when serving clients. There are people that can open doors and show you real estate, and for me it’s more about getting to know what the family is seeking in terms of the home, their lifestyle, the schools, extracurricular, etc. What makes the difference in being a great realtor is not about just opening a door and showing a house, it’s getting to know your clients and their needs and being there every step of the way.
Q: How will Kobeissi Properties continue into the future?
SK: Kobeissi Properties, as a family owned business with my husband, my son, and our great agents will continue to provide the highest quality of services to different groups of families that are seeking a home and wonderful lifestyle here in the Foothills.
